Mrs.. Loretta "Lori" Harpool, age 82 of Nixa, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Mo.

Loretta "Lori" Harpool was born on Wednesday, May 26, 1943, to Harold and Edna Wilken of Springfield. Married to Gene Harpool (deceased) in 1967 and had two children, Julie Harpool and Kevin Harpool (deceased) both from Springfield

Lori worked in the medical field for many years before owning a successful business in Springfield. She loved to watch St Louis Cardinals games, plant flowers, collect antiques and spend time with family.

Lori is survived by her longtime companion, David L Westlin of Nixa; a daughter, Julie A Harpool of Springfield; one sister, Ruby Reynolds and her husband, of Norman, OK, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene A Harpool of Springfield; son, Kevin W Harpool of Springfield; parents, William "Harold" and Edna "Blanche" Wilken of Springfield; one sister, Delores Smith of Willard.

She was loved very much and will be missed dearly by her family.

A private family burial is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
