Lois Reed, 90 of Springfield, was born on January 9, 1926 in Carthage, MO to J. Randal and Bessie Rose (Neal) Miller. She passed away on July 23, 2016 surrounded by her family.

She married Rev. Paul V. Reed on November 1, 1944 in Gulfport, MS, loved gardening, worked in the floral industry for 50+ years and was a member of the Bethal UMC in Carthage, MO.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her 2 sons, Dennis (Janel) Reed and Chris (Terri) Reed of Springfield; 2 sisters, Jeanette Hill of Columbia, MO and Lois'' twin sister Loretta Parker of Webb City, MO; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. St. Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Service will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Carthage, MO.
