Linda Kay McCleary, 70, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026 at Cox South Hospital.

Linda was born  on Saturday, May 21,1955 to Lowell McCleary and Mary (Berry) McCleary in Ava, MO. Linda graduated from Central High School in Springfield in 1973. She worked at SWI Industries for nearly twenty years and was a long time member at West Atlantic Street Baptist Church where she served for many years as a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her three sons, Brian Goodman and wife, Jennifer, Brandon Goodman and wife, Amy and Brent Goodman and wife, Jill; five sisters, Carolyn Goodman, Jeanie Huey, Regina Lafferty, Shirla Mae Martinez, and Judy Creson; one brother, Bobby McCleary; fifteen grandkids and twelve great -grandkids.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Lowell McCleary and her mother, Mary McCleary; two sisters, Shirlene Mansker and Virginia Dougherty.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Monday, February 9, 2026 at Klingner Cope Funeral Home White Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Joe Riley officiating. Burial will be at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Death is but a passing, from darkness into light.

I awakened from my sleep and behold a glorious sight.
