Linda Dian Paris, 69 of Springfield passed away Monday, March 7, in Springfield. She was born July 9, 1946 to the parents of Melvin and Geneva (Howard) Jarvis.

After graduating from high school, Linda attended Burge School of Nursing and retired from Cox Hospital after 32 years. She loved her grandchildren and was very family oriented. She was strong in her faith and worked with children in the ministry. She enjoyed the outdoors and animals, collected bears and enjoyed doing crafts.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Stephen Paris and her parents.

She is survived by 2 children, Geoffrey (Rachel) Stone and Jennifer (Terry) Green; 6 grandchildren, Austin & Dakota Stone, Tyler, Eric, Zachary and Nathan Green; 1 brother; 2 sisters and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Avenue, Springfield, MO. Services will be held Friday at 11 A.M. with burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
