Lewis William Potts, 95 of Springfield, was born on October 24, 1920 in Harrison, AR to James Clarence and Maude (Young) Potts. He passed away on September 26, 2016 surrounded by his family.
He married Teddie L. Wisner on October 11, 1946 in Springfield, MO, joined the Air Force on April 2, 1946 and retired from the USPS after 38 years.
Lewis is survived by his wife; daughter, Sandy Morris of Springfield, MO and grandson, Joseph Jones of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Clarice, Helen and Dorothy.
Honoring Lewis'' request, no services will be held.
