Elva "Lee" Hight, 86 of Springfield passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012. She was born September 13, 1925 in Ironton, Missouri. Lee was a seamstress all of her life and loved to sew and could sew anything. She worked at Levy-Wolfe and Heers. Lee enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and loved her cats dearly.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, husband Delmer Hight and five sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Stevan Hight (Joyce Ann) and Terry, a grandson and many loving family and friends.
A chapel service will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 1635 N. Benton, Springfield with private burial at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Family has requested donations be made in Lee''s name to the C.A.R.E. Animal Shelter, 1328 A W. Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65807. The family is requesting no flowers.
