Leah Renea Gresham, 32, of
Springfield, Missouri
passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was born on January 18, 1989, to Deborah Denise Orsburn and Gerald Larkin Gresham II.
Leah had a strong faith in God and is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. Leah was loyal and dependable. Those around her were drawn to her contagious smile; she never met a stranger. Leah helped anyone in need, especially her family. She carried out her calling to serve others by working as a certified nurse's aide. She loved to spend time with family, friends, and dear son Xzavier. Leah was a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her love of football was passed down to her from her father. She loved going to Kansas City Chiefs home games with her dad, Gerald and four siblings. She also loved dolphins, the ocean, art, and gardening. Leah exuded love and was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Orsburn; stepsister, Amber Porter; stepmother, Linda Gresham; grandmother, Sue Mead; grandfather, Dennis Orsburn; grandmother, Donna Gresham, and best friend, Candace Jenson.
Leah is survived by her son, Xzavier Cranston; father, Gerald Gresham II and fiance Beverly Zittle, sisters, Lacey Brewer, Casey Gresham, Eli Gresham; brother, Jeremy Gresham and stepsister Claire Porter; grandfather, Jerry Gresham; grandmother, Toni Orsburn, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens,
on Wednesday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m.
following cremation according to Leah's wishes. A celebration of life will follow at Sunset Church of Christ,
