Wanna Lea Rohrer, 93, of Springfield, MO left this world for Heaven on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born on February 13, 1930 in Wheaton, MO to Grant and Nina Robinson.

Lea lived her adult life in Springfield, Missouri with her husband, Victor H. Rohrer, whom she met while both attended Southwest Missouri State College. Lea and Vic were married in Springfield on May 25, 1952. She came to know Jesus at age 12, and was baptized at church camp in a river, and was also born again. Lea and Victor were longtime members of the Central Assembly of God church in Springfield. She was an excellent elementary school teacher for over thirty years. Lea was known for her patience, kindness and wonderful home cooking. She had many skills and talents. Lea was very musical, performing in vocal trios, plays and in church choir. She was a gifted pianist as well. Lea's crochet skills led to her crafting many beautiful blankets. She was talented in sewing, and canning fruits and vegetables. Lea was tireless in her home duties and in caring for her husband and children. Most of all, Lea loved the Lord and her family, and prayed fervently for each and every one. Though we greatly mourn her passing, Mom is now an angel for all of us. We shall unite with her again in our heavenly home. II Corinthians 5:8,  "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

She was preceded in death by her parents and one dear sister Virginia Nell Robinson Buck.

Lea is survived by her husband of 71 years, her three children Martin, Marcia and Sharon, one son-in-law Merrit Baker, one daughter-in-law Lynn Rohrer, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends whom she loved very much.
