Laura C. Fitzpatrick, 50 of Reeds Spring, MO passed away on June 14, 2015 in Springfield. The daughter of Frank and Martha Koza Sekunda, she was born October 8, 1964 in Evanston, IL.

Laura loved animals, especially dachshunds, movies and was an avid "Foodie". She loved to try all kinds of food. Her greatest love was spending time with her daughter and grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Candace Fitzpatrick and grandson, Dionte, both of Reeds Spring, MO; her parents; 1 brother, David Sekunda of Springfield, MO; 1 niece and nephew, Amanda and Joshua Sekunda and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 1-3 PM at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Inurnment will be in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens at a later date.
