Laura Elizabeth Loveland was born February 28, 1926 in Wright County, Missouri. She passed away in her home on April 16, 2023 at the age of 97. Laura spent most of her working life in the restaurant business and was the owner of Laura's Café in Springfield.  She and her husband Gordon were active participants in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethons. She loved going to Branson music shows and spending time with her family. She attended First General Baptist Church until her health began to decline. Laura was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Loveland, parents Bill and Ida Moore, and siblings Lucille, Odessa, David, Gene, Don, Delmas, Ellis, and Flora. She is survived by her sisters, Freeda and Gloria, her brother, Bill; son Rick Seals and his wife Janis, daughter Vickie Stafford and her husband Mike, and daughter Connie Pruitt and her husband Danny. She is also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Shareece Hansen (Todd), Shawn Mitchem (Alisa), Justin Angel (Janelle), Josh Angel (Megan), Erin Genua (Peter), Scott Seals, Cassandra Turner, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
