Laura Renee Coffman of Springfield Missouri passed away in her home on October 11, 2022. Mrs. Coffman was born on April 17, 1952 in Los Angeles California to parents Elmer Eugene and Grace Elaine East. She remained in California until she and her extended family all migrated to Southwest Missouri where she spent her remaining years.

Mrs. Coffman, known as Renee to those close to her, had a love of gardening and took pride in her flower gardens. She also loved to sew and made hundreds of dresses for young girls living in Nicaragua. She also loved the Lord and took seriously her call to share the Gospel of Christ with others.

Mrs. Coffman is survived by her husband of 23 years, David K. Coffman, and her children and their partners, Tanya and John Marion, John Davidson and Diana Johnson, and Ashley and Joe Gilden, as well as grandchildren Morgan and Lauren Lander, Ethan, Logan, and Owen Davidson, and Evelyn Gilden.  She is also survived by her stepchildren and step-grandchildren and a host of extended friends and family.

Mrs. Coffman was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John William and Lee Eugene East, and sister Elizabeth Ann East.

Services will be held on Monday, October 17 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield Missouri. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 PM with services at 2 PM and graveside service to follow.
