Laura Patricia Brashear was born on January 4, 1939. She passed away on December 9, 2022.
She was born to George William and Edna Mae (Wallace) Clinkenbeard. She was the youngest of 5 children. She was married to Bert Brashear Sr. and had 6 kids.
She worked at Zenith until they closed their doors in 1999. From there she went to Aaron's and from there worked at Central High School as a cafeteria worker until she retired.
She is preceded in death by her son Anthony Todd Brashear, her grandson Curt Thomas Brashear Jr and her great grandson Zayn Cossey.
She is survived by 5 children Tammy (Brashear) Vanwinkle, Bert Brashear Jr, and Teria Brashear of Springfield, Theresa (Brashear) Woods of Ward, Arkansas and Curt Brashear of Cuba, MO. Along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed very much.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, Springfield. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at white Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
