Larry D. Willoughby 73, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was born on March 20, 1945 to Thomas V. and Wilma L. (Lee) Willoughby in Springfield, Mo.

Larry was an avid and dedicated fan of the Missouri State Lady Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals. For many years he owned and operated Larry's Towing. Larry was especially fond of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Kester; grandson, Chase Robinson; two sister in-laws; one brother in-law; two nephews and one niece.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Willoughby of 43 years; daughter, Kim Robinson; two step sons, Todd and Mark Ray; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO). Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 9:00 am at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 am.
