We are saddened to announce the passing of Larry Dale Robson on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born on Sunday, January 26, 1947 in Springfield, MO to Russell and Dorothy Robson.

Larry graduated from Central High School before enlisting in the US Air Force in 1966. As a Sargent, he traveled to many places in the United States, serving as a Jet Engine Mechanic. He continued his active service until 1969. At this time, he enlisted as a US Air Force Reservist and continued his service until his discharge in December 1972. Upon leaving the military, Larry had an array of hands-on jobs including being a lineman for City Utilities, working as a tow truck driver and numerous other endeavors until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Larry loved his family. His favorite things to do upon retirement were spending time with his family, fishing, camping, working on cars, attending racing events and yard sales. Larry was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help you if you needed anything. If he liked you, he would show you that by picking at you and giving you a hard time. If he didn't like you, you didn't have to guess, he wouldn't beat around the bush about it. He was a fun, honest and outspoken person who loved life and his family and he will be missed by so many.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Darrell Robson.

He is survived by his wife Bonita, whom he spent the last 7 ½ years with, three daughters Holly Robson (daughter Gracen Candie), Nichole Gollhofer (husband Pat) and Angela Rockholt (husband Shane), one son Lee Kennon (wife Trina), one brother Mark Robson, 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, his best friend Steve Crawford and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 11 AM. Interment with full military honors will be held at 1 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S.
