LaDonna J. Alexander, 76 of Springfield passed away on March 1, 2014. She was born on January 8, 1938 in Ogdon, Iowa to Daniel and Stella (Kirkndall) Powers. She is now free of all of her earthly pains, reunited with all of those she loved that left before her and most of all in the company of our dear Lord and Savior.

She worked at Ozark Nursing and Care for 15 years and was an LPN for over 40 years. She loved her family, crocheting and gardening. She was a very special lady who never knew how to say no to anyone that needed help.

LaDonna is survived by her son, Dan Alexander and his wife Mary; daughter, Donna Arbuckle and husband Mark; son-in-law, Dane; grandchildren, Cyrus, Kyle and Charita, Amanda, Dalton and Brooke; great-granddaughter, Cami; sister-in-law, Freda Powers and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ralph Doyle; 2nd husband, Carl L. Alexander; daughter, Ruth Tummons and 2 grandsons, Shawn and Kyle.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield with a visitation to be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens
