John Carroll 75, of Springfield, MO passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born on February 6, 1945 in Tallahoma, TN to Elzie and Jonnie (Morgan) Carroll.

John served in the Army with two tours in Vietnam. After the Army he drove a truck for 23 years. He was an avid member of Amvets Post #178. John married Debra Long and shared 31 loving years with her. He loved his dog "Oopy" which passed away shortly after he did. He was a fighter and fought cancer. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Debra of 31 years; his five children, L. John Jr., Cheryl, Lana, Robin and Jessica and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery (2501 S. Southwood Road Springfield, MO) on______________________________ with military honors.
