As we come together to celebrate the lives of Kevin Karl Kluthe and Deborah Elaine Hawkins Kluthe we remember how much they loved living their lives together.  Kevin was born October 3, 1956 in Newton, Kansas.  Deborah was born May 25, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio.  Kevin and Deborah met in 1988 at Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio where they both attended Physician's Assistant School.  Kevin thought Deborah was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.  Deborah was equally smitten with him. On September 9, 1989 they married in front of family and friends in Springfield, Missouri where they eventually settled to live.  They loved nothing more than spending time with each other on a boat, motorcycle, or travelling the country.  Their home was filled with so much laughter, loud voices, good food, and love.  They lived a life a service to others.  As well as being a surgeon's assistant, Kevin served in the Air Force as an operating room technician earning the rank of Sargent.  Deborah worked in a rehabilitation facility for patients with respiratory needs.  When she retired she volunteered her time working for the American Red Cross.  On January 27, 2023 Deborah passed quietly away.  Kevin joined her eight days later on February 4, 2023.  Their deaths so soon came as a shock to the family.  But, we knew Kevin and Deborah wanted to be partners in life and death.  They are survived by many family and friends.  The Celebration of Life for Kevin and Deborah will be held at Brentwood Christian Church in Springfield, Missouri on September 2, 2023 from 11:00 to 2:00.
