Kenneth G. Morris, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Springfield, MO. He was born to Hollis and Carrie (Blakely) Morris on Saturday, September 11, 1943, in El Dorado, KS.

Kenneth received his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University where he was an All-American in track, followed by service in the Army National Guard. He later received a Master Degree at SMSU. In addition to being an educator and administrator, he enjoyed a long and successful coaching career. An entrepreneurial spirit led him to travel widely as a highly sought-after seating contractor as well. In his retirement, he spent time volunteering and at the end of his life, he chose to be an organ donor.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Donald Joe Armstrong; and sister, Joyce Jordan.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Stacy Kemp (Brian) of Springfield, MO; son, Scott Morris (Megan) of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Cheyenne Love and Jack Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 2 P.M., in the Klingner-Cope Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO.
