IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Wayne
Miller
April 30, 1947 – November 15, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Kenneth Wayne Miller, who left us peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 78.
Kenneth was born in Clovis, New Mexico, on April 30, 1947. He graduated from Willow Springs High School in Willow Springs, Missouri, in 1965. After taking classes at the local community college, he found his calling on the open road and became a truck driver for a few years. He later began a career with Frisco and then Burlington Northern Railroad, where he worked as a Conductor for more than 30 years.
In 1970, Kenneth met Sharon Thompson after an automobile accident led to a hospital stay where Sharon volunteered as a candy striper. The two fell in love, married, and built a life together in Mountainburg, Arkansas, where they raised three children. Kenneth lost his beloved wife, Sharon, to colon cancer in 2000.
Known to many as KW, Kenneth never met a stranger and had a gift for storytelling. He would sit on the porch for hours talking to anyone that wanted to chat. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help someone in need. He loved the outdoors and found joy in golfing, hunting, fishing, and raising bird dogs. Kenneth was also a Christian who loved reading the Bible and cherished his personal relationship with Jesus.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Roger Miller (wife Michelle); his daughter, Tammy Wampler (husband Marc); his four grandchildren, Grace, Owen, Wren, and Oliver and his two older brothers, Jimmy Miller and Joe Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Martin and Inez Miller; his brother, Floyd Miller; his wife, Sharon; and his youngest daughter, Stephanie Snider.
