Charles Kenneth Howard, 71, of Springfield, MO passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was born on Saturday, January 11, 1947 in Middletown, OH to Eloise Haney and Douglas Howard.

Ken Howard and Kathleen (Kalinski) Howard were united in marriage in December of 1973 in Tucson, AZ and to this union two children were born. He attended Cedarville College in Cedarville, OH before attending BBC as a student from 1965-1969. Ken taught as a Professor at Baptist Bible College from 1976-2008. He loved golfing, fishing, Bible bookstores and traveling to state Aquariums and National Civil War Parks. Ken was also an avid Civil War historian and served as the Chaplain for the 3 ^rd Missouri Dismounted Calvary, a reenactment group out of Fair Grove, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother Rocky Glen Howard.

Ken is survived by his wife, his two children Amanda Howard and Ryan Howard (wife Teddi) of Fayetteville, NC, four grandsons Jonathan, James, Josiah and Jaxon, one brother James (wife Beverly), one niece Vanessa Frisinger (husband Neal) and one nephew Noel Howard (wife Jessica) of Tucson, AZ.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 11am-12pm at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy. EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 12pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Enabled Ministries, 841 W.
