Kelly McCrea Morse, 61, of Flemington, MO departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2021 after a recent illness at Mercy Hospital in Springfield MO. He was born on Monday, November 21, 1960 in Owosso, Michigan to the late James Morse and Kay (Vanderhoof) Morse.

On February 2, 1992 Kelly married the love of his life, Donna Reinolds in Denver, CO. They were able to spend 29 wonderful years together. They loved riding motorcycles together and camping in the mountains. He enjoyed woodworking, making handcrafted bows, playing with their fur babies, Abby, Sissy, Nick, Sammy and spending time with family and friends. They invested the rest of their time into the Central Hickory County Fire and Rescue.  Kelly was a Captain at Station #2 where he dedicated his life to helping others within his community. He was always the first one to lend a hand and took every moment as a teaching opportunity. Kelly could carry on a conversation for hours and was a big part of our community.  Hickory County will not be the same without Captain Kelly and he will forever rest in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one step-son Rick Harris and one grandson Kody Swearengin.

Kelly is survived by his sister Marsha (John) Chmielewski Morley, brother Kris (Carolyn) Morse, Uncle Ted (Rose) Sergeant, two step-children Shelly (Keeton) Swearengin of Wheatland, MO and Michael (Celeste) Harris of Omaha, NE and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will host a Celebration of Life dinner on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 11-2 PM at the Central Hickory County Fire and Rescue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Central Hickory County Fire and Rescue, 18901 MO-83, Wheatland, MO 65779.
