Kay Frances O''Dell, 71, Springfield, MO, departed from this life on September 15, 2013 in the home of her youngest son, Gene O''Dell. She was born on October 29, 1941 in Nebraska to Leonard and Erma (Lange) Litty.

For the largest part of her life, Kay worked hard as a stay at home mom, supporting her husband in the U.S. Navy and raising her four children. For a time, Kay worked at Wal-Mart as a Claims Clerk but eventually quit working to focus again on home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph O''Dell; one grandson, Allan Snider.

Kay was married to Ralph O''Dell on September 3, 1960 and to this union, four children were born. Survivors include son Robert, of Springfield and his children David, Christina, and Stacy of Texas; daughter Micky and husband Gary White of Ozark and her daughter Ashley of Springfield; daughter Nina and husband Matt Chittenden and their two sons, Iveck and Zarek of Bruner; son Gene and wife Christine of Springfield and their two sons, Johnathon and Gibson; and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
