Kathy Sorell age 60 of Ozark Missouri, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by family.

Kathy Sorell was born on Saturday November 23, 1963, in Joplin, MO. to Herman and Donna (Ritcheson) Colwell. On July 13, 2002, Kathy married Gary Sorell in Carl Junction, MO.

Kathy loved baking, crafting and spending time with her dogs Bella, Izzy, Coco, and Max. She always had a smile for everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Sorell of Ozark, MO; one son, Stephen Kimmel; one daughter, Mashell Kirkpatrick; five grandchildren, Trystin Kimmel, Gracie Kimmel, Matty Kimmel, Takota Sorell and Khloe Kirkpatrick; mother, Donna Ritcheson; and one brother, David Colwell.

Kathy is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette Sorell, and father, Herman Colwell.

A Celebration of life will be at the Sac River Cowboy Church: 6448 W. State Hwy EE Springfield, MO. 65802 on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with funeral service starting at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery: 5234 W. State Hwy EE Springfield, MO.
