Kathyrn 'Kay' Louise McKellips, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. Kay lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her.

Kay dedicated herself to her family and friends, always making time to lend a listening ear or offer a helping hand. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did.

Kay inspired those around her to always treat others with kindness and respect. Whether hosting family gatherings or sharing homemade meals, Kay created a home where everyone felt welcome.

Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren and all whose lives were touched by her warmth and wisdom. Kay will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her resilience and strength through all situations.

A Celebration of Kay's Life will take place at 11:00 AM on December 13, 2025, at Eastside General Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to a charity of your choice.

Kathyrn 'Kay' Louise McKellips leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. She will be lovingly remembered and forever remain in our hearts.
