Kathryn Irby, 91, of Springfield passed away on January 23, 2013. She was born on May 6, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio.

She was a loving mother to her 6 children, 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Kathryn was a med tech and worked in health care. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and pinochle. She was baptized in the Episcopal Church and was a woman of strong faith and courage, we thank God for her life.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO.

Donations may be made to a charity of donor''s choice in memory of Kathryn. She is making her journey with a friend Florence Liles.
