Kathryn Lynn Craig, 66 of Nixa, MO the daughter of Ernest Richard Young and Dorothy Delilah Young (Cowan/Swysgood) was born in Buffalo, MO on January 27, 1947. Kathryn departed her life on the morning of Sunday, November 17, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Lee Craig; son, Danny Arron O''Neal; daughter Angela Richelle Craig; grandchildren, Wesley, Alex and Benjerman O''Neal; sister, Carolyn Wilkens and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Swysgood.

Kathryn was a profound, strong and caring woman. She found her love in the Lord and life. She loved music, reading, hard work and the beauty of nature. She played the piano for the Buffalo Baptist Church in her younger years ongoing her ambition to be a mother and becoming a very active member of society for HD Lee, Assc. Grocery, Springfield Laundry and Youngblood Motor Companies. She always had devotion for others in jobs, friends and family, you will be dearly missed by all.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO with a visitation one hour prior to service. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
