Katherine Lucille Buckler, age 91, passed away January 6, 2014 with her family by her side. Katherine was born June 27, 1922 in Bois D''Arc, MO, the daughter of Homer and Leta Stacey Haynie. She married George F. Buckler on November 17, 1943; he preceded her in death in 1995.

"Granny" is survived by her children, Kay Ann and David Tummons, Jane and Joe Hill, Bill and Lisa Buckler and John and Bethaney Buckler, her grandchildren, John David Tummons, Joe Bill Tummons, Aaron Hill, Stacey Peterson, Anna Hufft, Andrew Buckler and Ashley Thompson and great-grandchildren, Sam and Sadie Tummons, Meredith, Jacob and Madelynn Hill, Cadence and Cortlyn Peterson, Case Hufft and Ian and Ivan Thompson. She is also survived by Dorothy Buckler of Loveland, CO and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Katherine became a member of Campbell United Methodist Church in 1953 and was a charter member of the 100 - 1 Sunday School class. She continued to worship there throughout her life. Katherine was active in Democratic Party functions, Retired Military Officers and a proud member of Bois D''Arc High School alumni. She was an avid gardener and traveler and enjoyed all family activities.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 10th at 10 a.m. in Campbell United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in National Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 9th at Klingner-Cope at Midtown, 1635 N. Benton.
