Karen Janet Denny, 78, of Springfield, MO passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born on Wednesday, May 10, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY to Lucille Clarkson and Rev. Walter Long.

Karen married Everett Denny on May 30, 1987. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, was devoted to her faith and worked as a School Teacher, Sunday School Teacher and Homemaker.

Karen was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, one grandson Zachary Lindsay and one sister Joyce Boosinger.

She is survived by her three sons Dennis Lindsay, Bryan Lindsay (wife Stephanie) and Kevin Lindsay (wife Tammy), one sister Linda Munjak, ten grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Caleb, Jacob, Victoria, Amanda (husband Michael), Jordan (wife Sierra), Brittney (husband Cody), Haylee (husband Walker) and Preston (wife Samantha), eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE., Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 1 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 525 South Ave., Springfield, MO 65806.
