Justin T. Whisenand, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on August 15th, 2021. He was born May 14, 1977 and grew up in Union, Missouri.

Justin is survived by his mother, Teresa J. Bowen, of Springfield, and his father, Mark Whisenand of Hemet, California. He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Bowen, maternal grandfather, David W. Trott, and paternal grandparents, Marion and Betty Sullivan Whisenand.

Survivors also include maternal grandmother, Barbara S. Trott, of Springfield;  twin sister, Brittney Bowen and partner Mary Swanson and their son Luke of Dripping Springs, Texas;  brother, Joshua Whisenand and his sons Damian, Dominic and Jayden of Washington, Missouri; sister, Erin Goforth and husband Bryson Goforth and their children, Maddox, Harper, Jaxon, Holden, and Hudson of Chesapeake, Virginia; and half-siblings, Jennifer Whisenand-Jones of Alturas, California and Dennis Whisenand of California City. Justin also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends whose support and friendship he treasured.

A private, graveside service will be held for Justin.

Justin was a much loved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a baptized member of the Church of Christ, and his faith led him to be always concerned for others. If you would like to honor Justin, perform an unexpected act of kindness in his memory.
