Justin Harold Szalla, 29, left us way too early on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. He was born on Saturday, February 19, 1994 in Commerce Township, MI to Tabatha L. Caldwell and David A. Szalla Jr.

Justin was a wonderful, kind, intelligent and humble man. He brought joy and laughter to the world and was one of the bravest, strongest people his friends and family knew. Justin loved to read, listen to music and play video games. He was a fitness guru, charismatic, fun, athletic and was always in a good mood despite his circumstances. Justin lit up a room and has a special place in our hearts. He loved his family more than anything.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather David A. Szalla Sr. and his father David A. Szalla Jr.

He is survived by his mother, his siblings Ashley (Szalla) Branham, Hayden Szalla and Ethan Szalla two nephews Keagan and Killian Branham, maternal grandparents Kenneth Caldwell and Donna Bartley, his paternal grandmother Lucille Irons, his maternal great grandmother Noble (Hopson) Campbell and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Following cremation, Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date and time.
