Obituary

Judy was born the fifth of seven children, January 24th 1943 to William Franklin and  Ruth Irona Davidson. Judy raised three wonderful sons and was survived by her husband Owen Long. Judy was a grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings Joann, Opal, Darlene, Becky, Willis, her son BIllie Russell, granddaughter Angela Lissoni-Hall and great-granddaughter Ariana Norem. She is survived by her two sons, Micheal Woodward Johnson and Kenny Rue Johnson, brother Rocky Davidson and many more loved ones.
Judy never met a stranger and there was not a child she didn't love. Judy had many hobbies but her greatest was loving and spoiling her grandchildren.
Her favorite moments were spent at her kitchen table watching her grandkids play in the backyard while squirrels played on the big tree and birds fed on their feeders. Her lifelong focus of grace and love made her Nanny not just to family, but to everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
Judy passed peacefully at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Mo on September 6th, 2020. Visitation will be held at Rivermont Funeral Home September 17th, 2020 6-8pm, graveside services will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery September 18th 2020 2pm. Masks will be required.
