Obituary

Judith Kay Wilkerson, 75, of Brighton, MO went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Springfield, MO. She was born in Springfield, MO on Monday, January 23, 1950 to Virginia "Jenny" and William "Red" Criger.

Judy graduated from Central High School in Springfield, MO and obtained a certificate from Ozarks Technical Community College for participation in their Hospitality Management program. She worked as a forklift operator for Zenith and Kraft in Springfield, MO. Judy loved animals of all kinds and had been raising dogs since she was seventeen years old. She loved cooking and most of all being around her family. Judy was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her peaceful passing.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Judy is survived by her husband of 46 years John "Bill" Wilkerson, twin daughters Mandy Hardin (husband Michael) and Brandy Hardin (husband Robert), one stepdaughter Terri Gardner (husband Todd), nine grandchildren Vincent Hardin, Emma Hardin, Kaitlyn Hardin, Wesley Hardin, Kristen Crall, Meagan Stringer, Brett Gardner, Aaron Gardner and Cody Gardner, four great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Pleasant Hope Cemetery, 705 N. Main Street, Pleasant Hope, Missouri 65725 with Pastor Jared Proctor of Springhill Baptist Church officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Springhill Baptist Church.
