Juanita Loveland 96, of Springfield passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Pedalo, Missouri on August 19, 1915, the only child of Austin and Stella Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, a son J.C., her parents and a great granddaughter. She was a devoted lifelong member of Sunset Church of Christ where she was active in most areas of the church. Her biggest passion was being known as "The Boss" at coordinating and routing the church van for picking up members for services. She also managed the flower ministry for many, many years sending flowers to anyone with special needs. Juanita retired from Heers Inc in 1981 where she worked for 30 years as manager of the women''s sportswear department in the basement. Juanita's loving smile and great personality made her hundreds of friends; not only at work, but in all things that she was connected too. Juanita is survived by a son Don Loveland and Judy of Rogers, AR. a daughter, Charlene Eoff of Raceland, KY and daughter-in-law Pat Loveland of Springfield; 8 grand children; Sylvia Glenn and Bill, Jay Loveland and Lynn, Blake Loveland and Carla all of Springfield, Dusty Martin and Lisa of Nixa, MO, Kandi Hale and Ray of Raceland, KY, Whitney Frossard and Kenny of Joplin, MO, West Loveland of Bentonville, AR and Paul Loveland and Crystal of Grove, OK., 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was a wonderful Christian lady, loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012. Services will be at Sunset Church of Christ, 1222 West Sunset St. Springfield, MO 65807 on July 3, 2012 at 10am with interment to follow at Sparta Cemetery.
