Juanita Mae (Dixon) Franks, 94 of Springfield, was born on July 17, 1920 in Springfield, the oldest of 3 children, to Clarence Arvil and Octa Ellen (Hannah) Dixon. She passed away on December 22, 2014 at Cox South Hospital.

She married Clarence W. Franks, Jr. on March 19, 1941, graduated in 1939 from Senior High School (now Central High) in Springfield and was a member of University Heights Baptist Church.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, who passed on January 19, 1987; parents; sister Ilene Gott; brother, Arvil Lee Dixon; son-in-law, Dale Dotson and granddaughter, Diana Lynn Zweerink.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Dotson of Willard, Linda Zweerink and husband Darrell of Springfield, Trish Glenn and husband Jim of Ash Grove, Debara Tobin and husband John of Willard; son Bob Franks and wife Kathryn of Bois D''Arc; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE, Springfield. A graveside service will be at Maple Park Cemetery, 300 W Grand Street, Springfield, MO on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Geoff Weinman officiating
