John H. Young, 82, of Republic was born on November 21, 1929. He passed away surrounded by his family on March 11, 2012.
He drove a truck over the road until he retired from Roadway.
John is survived by his loving wife Velma Jean; 5 sons: Rick, Dennis, Roger, Delbert and Rob; daughter: Denise Rohwer; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one sister: Virginia Cook and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Don and Charles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division), Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Internment will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
