Mr. John Barnett Sr, 88 of Ozark, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at his residence.

John Barnett was born on Saturday, November 16, 1935 in Mount Carmel, Illinois to John D, and Roberta (Evans) Barnett and graduated from Willard High School, Willard, Missouri. He married Paula Diane Clouse in 1957. In the early 1960's, they moved to California. John worked as a Truck Driver and as a Scale Master at various scrap facilities.

John enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, fishing lures and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by one son, John Barnett II and wife, Cheryl; one daughter, Anne Barnett; granddaughter, Ashly Balschmiter and husband, Jeff; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Brynlee; two sisters, Carolyn Whobrey and husband, Dwayne and Madlin Fugate.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Barnett; parents, John D. and Roberta Barnett.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
