John F. Moore, Sr. 82, passed away on Nov. 9, 2012 at Westside Health Care. He was born in Rolla, MO, Nov. 2, 1930 to the late Clifford and Leila (McCowan) Moore.

John was a Southern Baptist who loved and served the Lord from an early age. He worked for Frisco Railroad/Burlington Northern Railroad for 38 years, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley June; son, John Jr. and wife Elena of Riverview, MI; step-son, Vincent Smith of Carl Junction; 2 grandsons, Ian and Eric Moore; 1 sister-in-law, Arlene Beach, 1 brother-in-law, Don Copeland and wife Jan and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Thursday, Nov, 15 at 11 AM with the Rev. Nolan Carrier officiating. The family will receive friends at 10 am prior to the service.
