John Holloway, 76 of Willard, was born on October 12, 1938 in Plum Branch, SC to Edna Gray and John Perry Holloway Sr. He passed away on July 10, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He married Kathryn Tew in Dillon, SC on February 25, 1963, was the owner of Best Properties and enjoyed fishing and golf. He achieved 9 hole-in-ones and the last 2 were in June. He was a member of Green Hills Country Club, member of the U.S. Army, serving his country during the Vietnam era, graduated from Baptist Bible College, was an escort for the Veterans Honor Flight and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Jim and Doug.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn; son: Eric (Trina) of Marshfield; daughter: Joy Holloway of Phoenix, AZ; 3 brothers: Tom (Rose) of FL, Earl (Julie) and David (Linda) of GA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 4 till 6 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division). Service will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
