Joel Nobel Martin II, 65, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Springfield. He was born to Howard Martin & Jean (Lager) Martin on January 4, 1949 in Oak Park, IL.
Joe married Maxine Easley on March 18, 1985. He was a retired electrician who was also an avid Chicago Bears fan, loved music, spending time with family & friends, and had a knack for history & trivia.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Maxine, and his parents.
He is survived by his 2 son, Joel (Kathryn) Martin III & Jacob Martin both of Springfield, MO; 1 sister, Sandra Gay of North Liberty, IA; 1 brother, Michael (Joan) Martin of Lincoln, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 from 1-2 PM at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, October 13, 2014 at the funeral home.
