Joan Geraldine White of Springfield, MO completed her journey on earth, after battling an illness for the past couple of years. She was called to heaven by our Lord on September 13, 2015 to join her husband Jack who preceded her on their journey home.

Joan (Young) White was born on July 9, 1931 in Mtn. Grove, MO to Miles T. and Bonnie Ruth Young. She graduated Mtn. Grove High School in 1949. Joan married Jack J. White of Cabool in 1951, and they were together 63 wonderful years before his passing.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, brother Robert D., and sister Pauline.
She is survived by her brother Eugene Young (Mtn. Grove) and her loving son Marcus L. White (Springfield), as well as many other family and friends she was blessed with.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte from 1:30-2:30 PM.

Graveside Services will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO at 3:00PM.

The world has lost a ray of sunshine with her passing. She will be surely missed by all.
