Joan W. Willis, age 75 of Springfield, MO passed away Friday morning, March 27, 2020 after a brave, long, and tiresome fight with cancer. She was surrounded in her home with loved ones. Joan was born October 14, 1944 to Robert and Kathleen (Nuttle) McMillin in Springfield. Joan was a giving, kind and selfless person that helped everyone around her. Joan also had a huge love for cats and rescued and loved many in her lifetime. Her smile and loving kindness will forever be missed.

Joan was retired from a career that spanned over 30 years with Lily Tulip, where she touched many lives with her helpful spirit and smile. She spent her retirement years doing what she loved working in her yard, reading books and spending time with her cats. Joan loved the Lord with all her heart and soul ,  she knew where she would spend eternity, singing with angels. We should also be rejoicing with her that she is cancer free now.

Joan is survived by her two daughters Alicia Shum and Jennifer Steinshouer of Springfield, a sister Annell McBrayer of Virginia, brother Robert McMillin Sr. of Springfield, and brother Rocky McMillin of Springfield and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
