Jimmy "Speedy" Reedy, 72 of Battlefield passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James and a great grandson, William DeBaise IV.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine, their children, Todd, Kenny, Debbie Boyle and Nancy Stickley; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a step great-grandson, his mother, Opal, 3 sisters, Betty King, Sharon Clark and Shirley Cook.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Family has requested donations be made in Jimmy''s name to Oxford Hospice, 3660 S. National, Springfield, MO 65807.
