James Patrick Wilkins, 70, of Springfield, MO passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 after battling a heart condition for several years. He was born on Sunday, November 26, 1950 in New Hampton, IA to Charles and Elizabeth Wilkins.

Jim was raised in Kansas City, MO. He spent his career in orthopedic sales based out of Springfield, MO and worked throughout Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Jim considered his colleagues and customers to be among his closest friends. He was always thankful for the relationships he built during his career. In 1976, he married Marilyn Weir and to this union four children were born. After retiring, Jim spent his time living on and running a horse farm and enjoyed living in the country.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gary.

Jim is survived by his wife Marilyn, four children Kim, Fred, Brad, and Megan, one sister Anne, one brother Mike, nine grandchildren Izzy, Mary, Tyler, Alex, Katelyn, Savannah, Dallas, Fred Jr., and Devon as well as two great-grandchildren.
