Jessie J. Shull, age 87, of Springfield went to his Heavenly home Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was born July 30, 1935 in Springfield to Jesse and Hazel (Rathbun) Shull. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Jessie will be greatly missed by his children Victor Shull (Sandy), Lavona Pursley (Andrew), Jason Shull (Molly Taylor); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Susie Hill and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Jessie is preceded in death by his wife Mary E. Iler-Shull; brothers Arthur Eugene Shull and Johnny Wayne Shull; sisters Arletta Huber, Nancy Garcia, Mary Jo Hunt; and his mother Hazel Wilhite-Shull and father Jesse Shull.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, Springfield. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2022. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
