Jessie May Cobb-Coughenour

Jessie May Cobb –Coughenour passed away September 27, 2018 at her home in Nixa, with many visits from her loving family, after a short illness. She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on October 17, 1949 along with her identical twin sister Bessie Fay Applegate, who lives in Springfield with her husband Danny. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 25 years, William E. Cobb who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her three children, Shauna Geers and her husband Jeff, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Lelia Voss and her husband Gordon, of Rogersville, Missouri and Thomas Cobb and his wife Margo of Surprise, Arizona. She was married to William Coughenour in 1998 and she welcomed his children, Stacy Coughenour, Christopher Coughenour and his wife Tiffany and Cara Ketron and her husband Cortney, all of Springfield, to the family. Jessie Vorbeck was of young age and prized as their first grandchild. Through the years they added grandchildren William Voss, Jacob Demerest, Caroline Demerest, Trystin Voss, Kelsey Coughenour, Dane Ketron, Chloe Coughenour, Maddux Ketron and Kyler Coughenour. All ten grandchildren completed a wonderful family with many happy memories. May and Bill assumed the names MaMa and Bandad and looked forward to each and every visit by the grandchildren.

A Visitation is scheduled for Monday October 1 ^st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the chapel at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S Lone Pine). Funeral services will take place on Tuesday October 2 ^nd at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
