Jerry E. Henry Sr. 83, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on November 21, 2017. He was born on December 26, 1933 to Jake and Lena Henry.

Jerry was married to his loving wife Mary (Ferrell) Henry for 65 years. He drove a wrecker, owned his own body shop, and was an auto painter at Thompson Pontiac-Cadillac before retiring. After retirement he worked at Bass Pro repairing fishing reels. Jerry loved fishing, tinkering in his shed, and old western movies.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jake, and two infant daughters.

Survivors include his wife Mary Henry of 65 years; daughter, Linda Carter; son, Jerry Henry Jr. and wife Tracy; three grandchildren, Ray Carter, Mike Carter, and Josh Henry; four great grand daughters; two brothers, Jim Henry and Kenneth Henry and wife Janie; brother in-law, Allen Ferrell; sister in-law, Jenny Evans, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (5234 W. State Highway EE Springfield, MO 65802).
