Jerry D. Cones' Obituary
Jerry D. Cones, 75, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, in Springfield, MO. He was born to Edgar and Marian (Gambill) Cones on Sunday, June 18, 1939.
Jerry belonged to True Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and loved having his children and grandchildren around him.
Preceding him in death were his parents and nine sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of 41 years; 4 daughters, 3 sons, 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2015, in chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
Family is requesting memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
