Jerry Clevenger, 80, of Springfield, MO took his final breath on Thursday, June 8, 2023. The sun rose in Raymond, WA and the world welcomed him on Friday, August 21, 1942, a day the world became a little brighter.
Jerry lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Beatrice and Elias Clevenger.
He is survived by the love of his life Octa Cooper, two children Dan Clevenger and Tracy Carver, one brother Jeff and one sister Polly Sue.
A visitation will be held from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy EE, Springfield, MO 65802 with funeral services to follow at 1 PM. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Veterans service organization of your choice.
