Jerry W. Campbell, 75, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 with family by his side.
Jerry was born on April 29, 1940 to Charles and Maxine (Phillips) Campbell. He worked for Lily Tulip for 13 years and was also a truck driver for numerous years. Jerry was also part of the Teamsters 272. Jerry was a collector of many things, but most of all he cherished his grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Ronnie Gene Campbell, son; Randy Campbell, sister Lila Campbell, step-granddaughter Leah Wake, and 2 stepsons Scottie Wake and Steven Wake.
He is survived by his wife Donna Reaves of 37 years, 3 daughters; Tammy Tummon (Tim), Terri Jobe (Shawn), Mitzi Meadows (Christopher), 2 step sons; John Wake (Julie), Elmer Wake, very special friends; Bill Carter (Lyn), 16 grandchildren, 11great grandchildren, 3 brother and 2 sister in laws and a brother in law Ronnie Wake, as well as a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Midtown Chapel from 6-8 pm. Service will be held at Midtown Chapel on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2 pm, with internment to follow at Robberson Prairie Cemetery in Willard, Mo.
