Jean Smi th, 78, Springfield, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. She w as born in Springfield, on July 31, 1943 , to Carl and Elizabeth (Wilson) Lodwick. Jean was an amazing wi fe and mother. She enjoyed bingo but dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jerry Smith; five children, Jerry Smith and wife Vicki, Larry Smith and wife Sheryl, Mary Morrow and husband Ron, Gary Smith and wife Terrie, and Kerry Smith; stepson , Ed Smith; stepdaughter , Teri Haas and husband Dan; sister , Ellen Patton, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
